M Keller Creative Studios was commissioned to develop a bespoke carpet design for the library of London’s Reform Club, working with the club’s secretary to create a new carpet for the restored historic interior.
The design drew inspiration from the library’s ornate ceiling and the geometric arrangement of its original floorboards, bringing these architectural details together in a decorative pattern conceived specifically for the room.
Following a period of fundraising, the carpet was manufactured by Axminster Carpets and installed in September 2015.
The carpet was conceived as a visual counterpart to the library’s decorative ceiling, translating its architectural details into a pattern that would complement the character of the restored room.
A border of tessellated blocks references the arrangement of the original floorboards beneath, introducing a second layer of architectural detail into the design.

The completed design combined a ceiling-inspired central motif with a geometric border referencing the original floorboards.
Manufactured by Axminster Carpets and installed in September 2015, the bespoke carpet brings these architectural details together as a new decorative element within the restored library.

M Keller Creative Studios was commissioned directly by the Crime Writers’ Association to photograph its 2013 Dagger Awards dinner, celebrating achievement in crime writing.
The commission covered the evening’s proceedings, capturing the atmosphere of the venue, the guests, speeches, award presentations and informal moments throughout the event.
The photographic coverage followed the evening from the preparations and arrival of guests through to the speeches, award presentations and informal moments around the tables.
Alongside the formal proceedings, details of the setting and candid photographs of the guests capture the character of the occasion and the people who brought it to life.

M Keller Creative Studios was commissioned directly by Natuzzi to produce a series of vintage-inspired fashion photographs for an exhibition at its main showroom during London Fashion Week.
The shoot brought together Natuzzi’s contemporary furniture and the vintage clothing and character of Beyond Retro. Working with Beyond Retro, the studio arranged the location, while Natuzzi supplied a sofa for the shoot.
The photographs placed Natuzzi’s contemporary sofa within the vintage surroundings of Beyond Retro, creating a contrast between the furniture and the clothing, characters and accessories featured in the shoot.
A series of staged portraits and informal interactions brought a playful quality to the images, with the sofa providing a consistent setting across the collection.

Alongside further photographs from the shoot, the images offer a glimpse of the location, lighting setup and people involved in bringing the collection together.
Four photographs were selected for production as large canvas prints and exhibited at Natuzzi’s main showroom during London Fashion Week.
